Alec Baldwin, 65, gushes about how ‘grateful’ he is for wife Hilaria Baldwin on her 40th birthday… after she stood by him through Rust shooting backlash

Alec Baldwin expressed his gratitude to his wife Hilaria as he wished her a happy 40th birthday on social media on Saturday.

Hilaria stood loyally by Alec through the backlash over the 2021 shooting that occurred in rehearsals of his upcoming western Rust.

Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed with a Colt .45 being used as a prop. Alec, who was holding the gun when it went off, has denied pulling the trigger.

Now, two years after the tragedy, Alec shared a photo of his wife of 11 years wearing a black and white jacket, a forest green top and black leather leggings from a date night.

 ‘Today is the birthday of the woman who is the blessing that begat all of my other blessings,’ the Babylon actor penned.

Hilaria shared a selfie of the of her and Alec as they stood by a door in preparation for their romantic evening. The Departed star looked relaxed in gray pants, a black jacket and sneakers.

The yoga instructor shared a video of stretching exercises to mark the end of the last decade.

‘Decided to finish my 30s with some stretching. I do these every day. My love to you ❤️✨’ she wrote to her fans as she demonstrated cat-cow stretches and pigeon poses. 

‘Good night 39,’ she said in a voiceover of the video.

‘Thank you body for this wild ride. We’ve done so much, made some people,’ she said referring to her seven children with the Tár actor.
