Her grandmother Christine Mcdonagh broke the news of Ms Steer’s death on Facebook.

‘It is with the heaviest of hearts that I write this. Our beautiful beloved granddaughter Taneasha was killed in a car accident at 6:30pm Monday evening,’ she wrote.

‘Taken so young our hearts will be forever broken. We love you darling always and forever.’

Ms Mcdonagh said the family was in ‘shock and disbelief’ and were ‘heartbroken beyond belief’.

‘We are all so lost. Shattered into a million pieces,’ she said.

Her fiancé Luke Andrews, with whom she shares her 18-month-old son, shared a photo of the trio together in honour of Ms Steer.

Mr Andrews’ brother Brayden has since launched a GoFundMe to help support him in raising his child.

Brayden said Mr Andrews was called to the scene of the crash at 6.30pm on Monday to learn his partner had been killed.

‘To everyone who knew neash she was always the life of the party and brought so much joy to plenty of lives,’ he said.

Another friend said Ms Steer was ‘loved by many’ and was always up for a chat.
