Amal Clooney exuded elegance in a peacock-coloured gown as she arrived at the Cartier Private Party in Venice on Saturday.

The human rights lawyer, 46, whose husband is Hollywood legend George Clooney, looked sensational as she stepped out wearing a fringe floor-length dress.

Her garment, which was ombre-coloured from light blue to purple, showcased her enviable figure as it clung to her hourglass shape.

Adding inches to her statuesque frame, she slipped into a pair of shiny purple heels and accessorised with a silver clutch.

To finish her look, she paired her gown with a simple silver bangle around her wrist and some delicate dangly earrings.

George was nowhere to be seen during the event, but the duo were spotted arriving at Marco Polo Airport in Venice for the 81st Venice International Film Festival on Friday.

For their arrival, Amal wore a bright yellow sundress, which she paired with cream wedges and an oversized sun hat.

Meanwhile, George cut a more sophisticated look with a black shirt, white trousers and cream shoes.

Earlier this year, George and Amal reportedly moved to the South of France after their Oxfordshire, UK mansion was impacted by flooding.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, shares 7-year-old twins, son Alexander and Ella.

Italy has sentimental value to the Hollywood heartthrob as he met the human rights lawyer in Lake Como in 2013 when she came over for a dinner party with mutual friends.

The actor is said to have purchased his Italian home – named Villa Oleandra – from the Heinz family in 2002. The mansion, which boasts 25 rooms, was estimated at over $100 million in 2022.

The home has seen its share of A-listers. In 2004, the cast of Ocean’s Twelve was treated to a visit at the villa, People noted.
