In the two minute clip Suggs, dressed in all white in an Atlanta Braves baseball jersey and cap, he plays the song, elongating each note to echo in the canyon below. 

‘I took my Gibson Les Paul Goldtop and Vox AC30 to the Grand Canyon to pay homage to our Nation by performing the National Anthem. I plugged straight into the amp and turned it all the way up!’ he wrote on Youtube. 

‘I’m from Atlanta so I had to rep my city and my Braves while at the Canyon. I’m pretty sure this is American History, being the first person to record the National Anthem on Electric Guitar at The Grand Canyon!’ he added.

His video has racked up over 4,000 views on YouTube and fans have showered him with praise for his beautiful performance.

‘That was awesome. Wish I could have been there to witness that,’ another added.

‘Absolutely epic!’ one user wrote with another echoing ‘Pure awesomeness!’ 

After sharing his video on Thursday he posted an update saying that the Atlanta Braves baseball team reached out to him to play the National Anthem at a game this season.
