The mother of a six-year-old from Russia who has been hailed the ‘most beautiful girl in the world’ is facing an online backlash for ‘parading’ her young daughter online.
Anastasia Knyazeva who hit the headlines this week thanks to her doll-like features and striking blue eyes is a successful child model, having starred in a number of campaigns including for Russian brand Chobi Kids.
But while many fans flooded her Instagram account, where she has more than 500,000 followers with positive comments about her beauty, others urged her mother Anna to consider the dangers of such exposure.
According to The Daily Record, one online commenter warned: ‘You are inviting online predators into her life and setting her up to place her entire worth on her looks. I have a beautiful daughter and I would never parade her across the internet like this.
‘You need to think about what you are doing. In this day and age we need to protect children.’
Another commenter echoed these sentiments, saying: ‘Anna, are not you afraid for the consequences? She’s a child. I think you can not advertise your children, because the world is very cruel. And money will not help. Sorry, this is my opinion.’

Others also warned Anna that it’s a mistake to turn her daughter’s appearance into ‘a cult’, even if she is earning money from it.
‘If at the moment it is a good source of income for the family, then in the future for the girl there will be a big problem,’ one wrote.
The youngster looks set to follow in the footsteps of Thylane Blondeau, now 16, who was famously named the world’s most beautiful girl at the age of six – and became the youngest model to star in French Vogue.
She is represented by President Kids Management, and her mother regularly posts photographs of the six-year-old’s photoshoots, as well as snaps of her backstage.

Each photograph receives hundreds of comments about the youngster’s striking features, from fans as far as Indonesia and Brazil.
One commented ‘OMG .. I think she is the most beautiful girl on the earth !!’, while another wrote: ‘What a beautifull eyes [sic].’
Another follower posted ‘She really looks like a doll’, while one added: ‘What a cutie she is.’

Anastasia’s mother has been sharing photos of her little girl since July 2015, when the burgeoning model was four years old.
The youngster has already modelled for major brands in Russia, including Amoreco and Kisabiano.
She was also voted the face of Little Miss Aoki, a line from luxury children’s couture house Mischka Aoki, in October last year.

Some fans have already suggested Anastasia, also known as Anna, could one day take the crown of Russian model Irina Shayk, who rose to fame in 2007 when she became the face of Intimissimi.
Despite the enormous support on Anastasia’s official Instagram page, some have criticised her mother for letting her daughter model, as well as wear make-up, at such a young age.
One person wrote: ‘I’d like to know how much make-up her parents give her before each photo’.
Beneath one picture, another follower added: ‘Why does not she smile? She is a child ..’

Despite her young age, Kristina has already had an enviable career having graced the cover of Vogue Bambini when she was seven and been the face of Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani and Benetton, among others.

French model Thylane Blondeau, who is now 16, was famously called the most beautiful girl in the world after appearing on the cover of Vogue Enfants at the age of six.
The youngster, who is the daughter of footballer Patrick Blondeau and presenter Véronika Loubry, had begun modelling at the age of just four, appearing on the catwalk for designer Jean Paul Gaultier.
In 2011, at the age of 10, she became the youngest ever model to star in Vogue Paris in a shoot that proved to be controversial.

The model appeared on the front row at a number of shows during fashion week, as well as walking the catwalk for Dolce & Gabanna in Milan.
The beauty recently confessed the most valuable piece of advice her famous parents gave her was to ‘always be herself’.
‘My mum is always with me, and I’m always consulting her,’ she explained to W magazine.
