Fresh from the studio, Ariana’s appendage was still wrapped in plastic.

You could also see the ‘H2GKMO’ tattoo she shares with fiance Pete Davidson in one frame.

The The Light Is Coming singer tagged New York tattoo artist Mira Mariah in her Instagram Story posts of the Chihiro tattoo.

‘I love her so much,’ she wrote on another Instagram tagged with the artist’s handle.

Mariah also designed the bumblebee tattoo behind Grande’s ear. The ink was done in commemoration of the Manchester Arena attack the year before.

The Studio Ghibli character is from 2001’s Spirited Away, which is about a young girl searching for a way to save her parents after they are magically turned into pigs.

She explained the significance of her body art in a now-deleted Instagram, telling fans: ‘Chihrio’s growth into a capable individual is a core factor to the movement of [the movie’s] plot.’

Ariana’s been happily adding to her tattoo collection since she started her romance with Pete Davidson in spring.

In addition to their H2GKMO tattoos the pair have matching heart tattoos on their fingers and both have Pete’s father’s FDNY badge number 418 on their skin.

Pete recently revealed the hilariously awkward origin of his first tattoo at 17, explaining to Variety magazine how it was partially inspired by his fiance’s ex boyfriend Big Sean and his lyrics in the Kanye West song Mercy.
