Baby Archie looks like his father Prince Harry in ITV documentary

Viewers were left charmed by just how much baby Archie looks like his father Prince Harry in footage following the Royal couple’s tour of Africa. 

Footage from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s documentary, Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, which aired on Monday evening, showed the adorable similarities between the young prince and his doting father.

Audiences gushed about the five-month-old, whose blue eyes and wisps of auburn hair suggests the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree.

It came after audiences gushed at their screens after spotting Harry gently rocking baby Archie to sleep on the ITV documentary following the Sussex’s first tour in Africa.  

Eagle-eyed viewers spotted Prince Harry holding his baby close to his chest and rocking Archie sleep in the background. 

The new father can be seen cradling his son and rocking him from side to side in the candid footage, where he thinks no one can see him.

Viewers on Twitter commented: ‘Meghan is saying something important but I can’t keep my eyes off the duo in the left side corner… Harry and Archie.’

Another wrote: ‘While Meg gave the interview I could just see Harry rocking Archie in the back omG my heart.’ 

Someone else posted: ‘Harry cradling Archie is so cute, you’re lucky bro.’ 

Another previously unseen moment captured Harry wiping away dribble from baby Archie’s mouth as he was introduced to Desmond Tutu. 

He met the Archbishop and his daughter Thandeka Tutu-Gxashe at at a tea party, who laughed as little Archie giggled.

But his father was quick to wipe his mouth, adding: ‘I think he knows exactly what’s going on.’ 

While Harry and Archie were visible in the background, Meghan talked about the ’empowered’ women and young girls she met during their Africa tour.

She said: ‘When you’re on the ground and you’re experiencing it and you’re seeing it, it resonates in a different way.

‘But the biggest takeaway, that I’m struck by is the optimism. These women and these young girls especially are just so empowered.’

Tom Bradby’s hour-long ITV documentary, ‘Harry & Meghan: An African Journey’, followed the royal couple during their official tour of Africa last month.

The Duchess told Bradby that it was essential for her to ‘thrive’ and ‘feel happy’, warning simply enduring unwanted scrutiny is ‘not the point of life’.

She told how she ‘really tried to adopt the British sensibility of a stiff upper lip’ – but believes burying emotions like that can only lead to ‘damage.’

In what was the first on-screen interview since becoming a mother, the American former actress admitted to feeling ‘vulnerable’ during her pregnancy with Archie under the media spotlight.
