Ben Fordham ripped into Married At First Sight ‘villain’ Davina Rankin on Friday’s Today Extra, labelling her a ‘classless, clueless homewrecker.’
The journalist was appearing as a guest panellist on Channel Nine’s breakfast show when conversation turned to the controversial reality TV star.
Ben, who was joined by Deborah Knight and Prue MacSween on the program, also offered his verdict on Davina and her co-stars’ various cosmetic enhancements.

Ben, 41, weighed in during the ‘Today’s Say’ segment, after host David Campbell announced that Davina was ‘desperate and dateless’ and having trouble finding love.
‘This was all a TV show, it’s all about showbusiness, so I’m sure Davina won’t take this too personally, but she came across as a classless, clueless homewrecker,’ he said.
‘She came across terribly in this show. She didn’t show any empathy for anyone at any time. She didn’t show any loyalty towards anyone at any time. She didn’t show any characteristics that made her seem appealing in any way.’
He added: ‘But I do call BS on this line that she can’t find a boyfriend.’

‘There will be boyfriends lining up and, once again, Davina is trying to make herself the centre of attention and I’m sick of it!’
Prue upped the ante with her own assessment, shifting the focus to the contestants’ apparently liberal use of cosmetic enhancement procedures.
‘My theory is, most men would think “There’s not going to be enough room in that bed for me, her, and those lips!”‘ she said.
‘I just think they are the biggest turn off. I mean, what are all these sheilas thinking pumping all the crap in their lip?
‘They look like they’ve been punched in the face!’

Deborah agreed: ‘This (season) has been OTT with the bodywork.’
Ben chimed in with his own commentary, agreeing with the female panellists.
‘I get people get stuff done to their body. I understand that – it is 2018 – but girls, not the lips!’ he said.
‘Looks like they’ve been punched in the face!’ Panellist Prue MacSween agreed, asking ‘What are all these sheilas thinking pumping all the crap in their lip?’
