Britney Spears’ one-time boyfriend Paul Soliz’s wife of eight years files for divorce and says they separated last year

Britney Spears’ one-time boyfriend Paul Soliz is headed to divorce court.

Nicole Mancilla, who has been married to Soliz for eight years, cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ in a legal filing for the split, as reviewed by TMZ Wednesday.

Mancilla petitioned the court for legal and physical custody of the four minor children she and Soliz share, according to the outlet, noting that she is open to determining a visitation schedule with him.

Mancilla has requested spousal support from Soliz, the outlet reported, and petitioned the court to not award him support.

Mancilla said in legal docs that she and Soliz wed in March of 2015 and separated June 29, 2023.

Soliz initially worked as a handyman and custodian at Spears’ Southern California home before they were romantically-linked. 

He was with Spears during an incident at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles this past May, in which paramedics were called amid an outburst.

The Grammy-winning singer, 42, was seen with Soliz and some of his kids as recently as August amid reports they had split up. 

Mancilla told Dailymail.com that Soliz is father to nine children overall, and struggles in supporting them financially, sarcastically labeling him ‘the EBT Nick Cannon.’

Mancilla said that the Los Angeles Department for Child Support Services had been pursuing Soliz over child support arrears.

Mancilla, who resides in Sylmar, California with her mother, Sandra Smith, who said that Soliz ‘doesn’t support any of’ his children.

Smith said: ‘They have a one-year-old together and he doesn’t even pay attention to that one either.

She added, ‘He’s a deadbeat dad It’s difficult for me, because he doesn’t support not one kid. And they’re at my house. 

‘Nicole’s torn up by everything. This has been going on for five years. And he doesn’t leave her alone, he keeps coming back. I wouldn’t let him see the kids if it was me. 

‘She does, because she wants them to have a dad. But I wouldn’t want a dad like that.’
