Earlier in the year, golfer Koepka and Sims welcomed the arrival of their son, Crew

Koepka – a five-time Major winner – and Sims have been married since 2022 and have a son, Crew, together.

They welcomed him in July but he was born six weeks early and had to spend the first three weeks of his life in intensive care, before the couple were finally able to bring him home.

Sims wrote at the time on Instagram: ‘Leaving hospital without your baby is something I wish for no one.

‘It’s the hardest thing we’ve ever done. There’s so much space in my heart for NICU parents and those who don’t get to bring their babies home.’

‘We’ve been visiting him as much as possible, and I know he’s in the absolutely best care.’

Koepka, meanwhile, faces a fascinating year ahead in the golfing world. The American, 33, is a member of the Saudi-backed rebel breakaway LIV Golf tour.

LIV and the PGA Tour have been in talks over a merger since shock news broke in June last year that the two bitter enemies were planning to combine as one.

But despite an initial deadline on December 31, an agreement has not yet been struck and the deadline has been extended to April – around the time of the Masters.

Koepka has never won at Augusta but is a two-time runner-up from the 2019 and 2023 events.
