Ormond stabbing: Man dies after argument late night argument in Melbourne’s south-east

A man has been killed after he was allegedly stabbed during an early morning brawl that took place outside a suburban home.

The incident happened outside a property on North Road, in Ormond, around 20km south-east of Melbourne, about 1.30am on Sunday. 

The man who was allegedly stabbed died at the scene while another man aged in his 30s suffered injuries from the fight.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  

Victoria Police are yet to formally identify the deceased man. 

A fight reportedly broke out at the property before the violent confrontation then spilled out onto the street of the neighbourhood. 

Traffic heading westbound on North Road will be blocked to motorists travelling toward Bethell Street and OLoughlan Street. 

An investigation into the incident is being conducted by police.
