Byron Bay Covid lockdown: I’m a Celebrity host Dr Chris Brown goes for a swim

Life’s a beach? I’m a Celebrity host Dr Chris Brown goes for a swim on the NSW North Coast before Byron and Tweed shire is plunged into lockdown by a Covid-infected crew member

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! host Dr Chris Brown enjoyed a day at the beach on the NSW North Coast just a week before the area was plunged into lockdown when a crew member on the show tested positive to Covid-19.

The 43-year-old, who famously hosted Channel 10’s Bondi Vet, showed off his muscular build as he went for a swim at Kingscliff Beach on September 12.

Chris went shirtless as he strolled along the sand after a refreshing dip in the ocean.

The athletic TV presenter wore navy boardshorts and a matching cap, and also had a fitness tracker on his wrist.

After his swim, Chris changed into a blue T-shirt and went for a stroll with a friend.

The sighting was one week before the Byron Shire, Kempsey and Tweed Shire areas went into a snap seven-day lockdown after a Covid-infected Sydney resident flew in and tested positive.

The person responsible for the snap lockdown is a crew member for Channel 10’s I’m a Celebrity, which Dr Chris hosts alongside Julia Morris, reports the ABC.
