However, the Grown Ups star’s family have now announced he died after suffering a seizure.

A spokesman for the family said: ‘Cameron’s tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was epilepsy.

‘We are still trying to navigate our way through this extremely heart wrenching time, and continue to ask for privacy so that the family, and all who knew and loved him can grieve his loss and make arrangements for his funeral – which in and of itself, is agonizing.’

Law enforcement have characterized his passing as a ‘natural death’.

An official autopsy will include a full toxicology report and blood tests. It’ll take several weeks for the tests to determine an official cause of death.

It comes as tributes have poured in for the actor, who also starred as Adam Sandler’s and Salma Hayek’s son in the Grown Ups movie series.
