Candiace Dillard is officially out at Real Housewives of Potomac following six seasons on the hit Bravo reality show.
In an official statement to People magazine on Monday, the 37-year-old indicated that she was leaving the series to focus on other career endeavors.
‘As I embark on a new chapter after six remarkable years with The Real Housewives of Potomac, I am filled with gratitude for the enriching friendships, personal growth and moments of introspection that have defined this journey,’ she said.
‘With a whirlwind of new opportunities and responsibilities on my plate, I have decided to take a break from RHOP,’ she added.
The Drive Back singer also teased that she may just be on a temporary pause from the franchise, saying, ‘This is not a farewell, but a “see you later.”‘

Candiace’s exit comes amid rumors that original cast member Robyn Dixon may also be leaving the franchise.
According to The Jasmine Brand, the 44-year-old is having her role drastically reduced moving forward.
‘[Robyn] may still make appearances on the show in the future,’ reports the publication, ‘and may return for future seasons’.
The most recent season of RHOP has been the worst rated in the show’s history.
Fans also widely criticized it for having a divided cast, with many of the women on the series unable to put their differences aside and move forward as friends.
Andy Cohen addressed the cast divide at the beginning of the season eight reunion, telling the women, ‘I want to set an intention for us today that each of you can find a path towards moving forward.’

While Candiace is officially out, the former beauty queen certainly has a busy schedule outside of the Bravo universe.
In addition to her music career, the Insecure singer has been making inroads in acting.
She’s a cast member on ALLBLK’s racy drama series Hush and has appeared in a number of films and TV shows on BET+.
