Ugas returns to action after his 2022 loss to Spence

Ugas, a 37-year-old Cuban with a decorated amateur career, hasn’t fought since his 2022 TKO loss to Errol Spence Jr. at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Barrios beat Jovanie Santiago with an eighth-round TKO in February in his native San Antonio, but lost his previous two fights: A unanimous decision to Keith Thurman and a TKO defeat to Gervonta Davis.

The night the boxing world has been waiting for has finally arrived, as Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez puts his unified super middleweight titles on the line in Las Vegas against junior middleweight champ Jermell Charlo, who jumps two difvisions for the chance to face the biggest name in the sport.

Canelo (59-2-2) is a -500 favorite, according to Draft Kings, while Charlo is a +360 underdog.

In the first fight of the televised card, Elijah Garcia (16-0) earned a stoppage over Mexico’s Armando Resendiz (14-2) in an impressive performance for the 20-year-old American southpaw. It was Resendiz’s first stoppage defeat of his career.
