Channel Nine has sensationally hit back at claims they’ve been angered by Love Island host Sophie Monk’s ‘diva demands’.
In this week’s Woman’s Day, ‘insiders’ alleged that Sophie Monk was causing a headache for the network with her list of ‘diva demands’ after reportedly landing a $1 million payday for the upcoming reality show gig.
But Channel Nine has refuted the claims, telling Daily Mail Australia on Monday that they are ‘very excited’ to have the blonde bombshell at the network.

‘We are very excited to have Sophie back at Nine,’ the Channel Nine representative said.
The rep added: ‘We have a wonderful relationship with her, and can’t wait to start production on Love Island Australia.’
It had been claimed that the 37-year-old requested ‘allowances for her glam squad and return airfares for millionaire beau Stu Laundy’.
An anonymous ‘source’ reportedly told Woman’s Day that Sophie ‘requested her ‘team’ be flown to Spain (where the show is being filmed) – including hair and makeup.’
It was also alleged that the former Bardot star ‘demanded Stu Laundy’s airfares be covered too.’
