Charlie Pickering has been forced to apologise after a shocking ‘slip of the tongue’ while hosting ABC’s live New Year’s Eve countdown.
The 40-year-old former Project host shocked viewers seconds before midnight when he said it is ‘OK to kill a police officer’.
‘We’re getting it ready to count it down to the magical moment, the only time it’s OK to kill a police officer…to kiss a police officer without asking,’ Charlie said, correcting himself.
