The 8 oz. bottles of Chick-fil-A, Polynesian, Barbeque, Honey Mustard, and Garden Herb Ranch sauces will debut in all of the chain’s Florida restaurants first.

Customers can purchase them on their own, and catering customers will receive the bottles with their orders.

Come April and May, 16 oz. bottles of the Chick-fil-A and Polynesian Sauces will be available to purchase in all Florida Publix, Target, Walmart, and Winn-Dixie stores for $3.49 each.

‘Chick-fil-A Sauce and Polynesian Sauce are our two most popular sauces, so we are extremely excited to offer them at select retail stores outside of the restaurant,’ Michael Patrick, principal program lead of Beyond the Restaurant, said in a press release.

What’s more, all profits from the sale of the 16 oz. bottles will be donated to the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarship Initiative, which will award $17 million in scholarships to employees this year.

‘Because our Team Members are truly our “secret sauce” to creating a positive experience in our restaurants, each time a customer purchases a Bottled Sauce at a participating retailer, the Chick-fil-A profits will support Team Members through our scholarship program,’ Patrick added.

The news has fans of the chain sharing their excitement on Twitter.

‘Probably the best news is finding out @ChickfilA is going to be selling their sauces in stores,’ wrote one.

‘Finally, a light in all the bad that is going on in this world,’ tweeted another.

‘I’d like five gallons please,’ said a third, while a fourth chimed in: ‘Finally i don’t have to ask for like 5 sauces to take home.’

What's with the bottle? Some people are incredibly confused by the bottle design, saying it looks like lotion, sunblock, body wash, shampoo, or conditioner

Some people, though, were incredibly confused by the bottle design. The squeeze bottles are mostly white, with no sauce imagery — making them look more like personal care products than anything edible.

‘Really thought this was a new product from Lubridem,’ quipped one.

‘When I showed my girl this, she thought this was shampoo and conditioner. Smh,’ said another.

Others guessed it was shampoo, conditioner, or body wash, with quite a few pointing out that the bottles look like they contain sunblock or lotion.

More still had the jarring first thought that Chick-fil-A was capitalizing on the COVID-19 outbreak by debuting its own line of hand sanitizer.

Capitalizing? Others joked that they thought Chick-fil-A was selling hand sanitizer — and that they'd considered buying it

‘Tell me why I thought they were selling hand sanitizer,’ wrote one.

‘I thought chick fil a had come out with their own line of hand sanitizer LMAO,’ said another.

While that would have been an odd marketing choice, several people said that wouldn’t have stopped them from buying it.

‘I was bout to go get that overpriced sanitizer without complaining,’ wrote one.

‘I thought I was hand sanitizer, I told my wife “we go in separate cars so we can get 4” usually everywhere are 2 per person,’ joked another.
