These mischievous children clearly had bundles of fun winding up their teachers when answering questions for their homework and exams.

Rather than offering the right remark – they instead provided creative, witty and sometimes very cheeky incorrect responses.

Although their answers were never correct, children from across the world certainly get top marks for their creativity – and left their parents in stitches.

Sarcasm, youthful innocence and brutal honesty were all reflected in the pile of papers – with some answers so ridiculous, even the teachers probably struggled to suppress a smile. 

Here, FEMAIL has compiled some of the funniest examples, collated in a gallery by Herald Weekly.

One example showed a question asking why somebody might not be able to see anything underneath their microscope. The youngster answered bluntly: ‘She is blind’. 

Another student appeared unenthusiastic about revealing how they had come to an earlier answer on a quiz, simply writing: ‘Math’. 

Meanwhile, one youngster replied: ‘Because ghosts are not real’, when asked ‘how many ghosts are left’ in a maths equation.
