The Traitors series two winner Harry Clark has revealed that he previously wanted to ‘end it all’ after finding himself ‘in the darkest place’.

Ex-army man Harry, 23, won the The Traitors’ £95,000 prize in January after deceiving his fellow contestants, including Faithful runner-up Mollie Pierce.

He quickly became a fan favourite on the reality programme hosted by Claudia Winkleman due to his warm and cheeky chappy personality.

However, this was a far cry from how he felt in the years leading up to the show, and Harry admits he previously hit ‘rock bottom’.

The star told The Mirror: ‘At around 21, I went through a bad time. I was in the darkest place you could possibly be. I had feelings of wanting to end it all. I was quite an angry kid. But the Army moulded my characteristics and made me the man I am today.

‘I began facing my emotions and learned to give myself time to be angry and sad. I started to set myself time limits to process my feelings. Afterwards, I’d tell myself I couldn’t waste any more time being angry or upset.

‘I had a realisation that time is the most important thing and I didn’t want to waste it. In the Army, I was that guy people would talk to. All I want to do is help. It’s a lonely world and it’s easy to be blinded by mental health.”

Reflecting on his The Traitors win, Harry said he was still working when it aired but has since quit.

A constant in his rise to success has been his girlfriend Anna Maynard, sister of popstar Conor Maynard, whom he began dating in April 2022.

With Harry’s newfound fame, he aims to buy a big house so all his family can come over each Christmas.
