Chloe Ferry beams for a sunkissed snap alongside pals Sophie Kasai and Abbie Holborn in Greece

Chloe Ferry looked stunning on Tuesday as she shared a stunning snap in the sun with Sophie Kasai and Abbie Holborn in Greece.

The trio of Geordie Shore stars are currently abroad filming for the week for the new series of the MTV show, following recent reports that the show has been axed, with this series to be the last.

‘Golden hour with my girls ❤️,’ captioned reality star Chloe, who looked stunning in a plunging crop top with a long flared sleeve and cut-out cupped bust design.

Leaving her chocolate locks to fall freely, she added a glamorous palette of makeup while shielding her eyes with a pair of oversized sunglasses.

Adding statement drop earrings, she struck a sultry pose while holding up the camera for a selfie in the sunny destination. 

Sophie was sandwiched in the middle of her two pals, opting for a plain white top with a black leather aviator jacket on top.

She added a stylish pair of tinted sunglasses while keeping her raven tresses down in a middle parting.

Last but not least, Abbie matched Sophie by opting for a leather jacket too – which was teamed with a pair of light wash denim shorts.

She clipped two sections of hair back and away from her face, adding dark sunglasses to the look.

The trio are currently in Greece filming, alongside fellow reality stars such as Marnie Simpson, Kyle Christie and Casey Cody Johnson.

As the Geordie Shore crew getting back together for filming, it’s unclear whether this bout of filming will be the last, amid reports that the MTV show has been axed after 12 years, according to The Sun. 

The reality show – which followed the lives of partying stars such as Chloe, Vicky Pattison and Charlotte Crosby in Newcastle – was pulled amid plummeting ratings, The Sun claimed.

The series started in 2011 and produced hosts of celebrities and influencers including Marnie, Holly Hagan and Sophie.

A source told the publication of the axing: ‘MTV chiefs have decided the time has come to call it a day on Geordie Shore.

‘The already commissioned series, which is the show’s 24th, will go ahead with filming kicking off this weekend and the reunion will go ahead as planned later this summer.

‘But once those have been filmed MTV have decided to rest the series and will not be commissioning any more. Think of it as resting the format rather than cancelling it out right.’

The insider added that while it has been one of the most successful runs of all time it hasn’t been the same for a few years so bosses thought it would be the right time.

The source also claimed that the current stars of the show haven’t be told the news of the axing yet and that they are expecting a ‘mixed reaction’ to the latest.
