The talented swimmers are now Australia’s sport’s power couple after they went ‘Instagram official’ last July.

The pair’s ‘pool love triangle’ with fellow Team Australia member Kyle Chalmers, who is Emma’s ex-boyfriend, made headlines last year.

At the time, it was claimed that Kyle blocked Cody’s entry into the ranks of the Australian Dolphins for the world swimming championships in Hungary after hearing of their relationship.

Kyle had originally made the decision to not travel to Hungary for the world championships, but back-flipped after his ex-girlfriend’s relationship with his team member became public.

However, he vehemently opposed suggestions his backflip was due to a personal vendetta against Cody.

The former popstar then later got a ‘one up’ on his girlfriends ex as he was named on the 10-man shortlist for the GQ Sportsman of the Year award – while Kyle missed out.

The singer and swimmer is hoping to turn his Olympic dream into a reality in Paris in 2024.
