Crowd cheers as Christian preacher told to shut up as he screams on a packed Sydney train 

Passengers on a packed Sydney train began cheering when a man preaching about abortion was told to shut up. 

When Phillip Blair, of Torch of Christ Ministries in America, boarded the busy train at Martin Place on Monday, he quickly began shouting about his religious beliefs.  

‘We care more about saving the whales than we care about saving our unborn children,’ he says in the video, which has been posted to YouTube.

An argument was sparked when a man sitting in the carriage reading his book then suddenly interrupted and politely said: ‘No thank you’.

But Mr Blair continued, telling the passengers Jesus Christ can save them.

‘Repent Sydney for your sin. There is power in the name of Jesus to save your life.’

The passenger then became more annoyed and the argument became more heated.

‘All I want you to do is shut up and leave me alone,’ the passenger says.

When asked why he won’t keep his opinion to himself he responds, ‘Because I care about your soul. I love you,’ Mr Blair said.

‘It’s a selfish world and you need to repent.’

‘Who’s the selfish one here mate?’ the passenger said.

‘Who’s the one who won’t shut up with their opinion? How selfish is that?’ ‘

The train then erupted with cheering.

Despite this, Mr Blair continued ranting.

As the video ended a woman chimed in: ‘Shut up, you sound like such a d***head’.
