Detectives work to deport a gang associate who is accused organising a hit on a teenage boy

Australian authorities are attempting to extradite an alleged gang associate who is accused of helping organise a hit on a teenage boy.

An arrest warrant has been issued for suspected Brothers for Life member, Abdul Abu-Mahmoud who is believed to be linked to the death of teenager Brayden Dillon, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Brayden was shot dead in his south-west Sydney home on Good Friday, 2017 after a masked-man, alleged to be Conrad Craig, barged in to his Glenfield home and fired at him in his sleep.

Mr Abu-Mahmoud is alleged to have fled the country at the same time the 15-year-old was killed and was in contact with Craig just weeks before the murder, police said.

According to police, the shooting was pay-back for the stabbing death of Adam Abu-Mahmoud at the hands of his older brother Joshua Dillon.

Brayden told friends he thought gang-members were after him for the wrong-doings of his brother in a 2016 brawl.

In the days before his death, Brayden suspected somebody was hunting him after his brother’s involvement in the brawl.

‘He always told me that he knew people were after him but he always thought that nothing would happen,’ one friend said.

It is believed the alleged Brother’s for Life member threatened to kill the members of the Dillon family in Joshua’s court appearance.

Last month, Investigators from Strike Force Wongala arrested Craig’s sister, Kimberly Craig.

The 35-year-old was charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder, intent to pervert the course of justice, knowingly participating in criminal group, and drug supply.
