E-bike crash: Why Sydney sex worker Cindy Pham was half-naked when she was arrested after Moore Park collision

Fresh details have emerged about why a scantily clad woman arrested for alleged drink driving in Sydney’s east was wearing nothing but leather lingerie.

Sex worker Cindy Pham, 26, allegedly collided with an e-bike rider while travelling along South Dowling Street at Moore Park about 3.45am on Sunday.

She was arrested at the scene after allegedly returning a positive breath test and was later charged with mid-range drink driving.

Pham allegedly told police she was travelling between jobs and was on her way to meet a client when the horror collision unfolded.

Dashcam footage from a passing taxi reportedly shows the 29-year-old male bike driver allegedly riding into the path of Pham’s Subaru sedan.

The taxi driver stopped to render assistance to the critically injured rider until emergency responders arrived, The Daily Telegraph reported.

The cabbie has since reportedly passed on dashcam footage of the collision to police.

Other witnesses at the scene said the e-bike rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and had ‘visible tyre marks on his chest and pelvis’.

Paramedics spent an hour at the scene treating the e-bike rider before he was rushed to nearby St Vincent’s Hospital.

He remained in a critical condition on Monday.

Following her arrest, Pham was taken to Surry Hills Police Station where a second breath test allegedly returned a positive reading of 0.095, almost two times the legal limit.

The sex worker, from Liverpool in Sydney’s south-west, was later taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where she underwent mandatory blood and urine testing.

She was charged with mid-range drink driving and was issued with a court attendance notice to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on March 14.
