Ed Sheeran once spent an awkward surprise Thanksgiving with Friends icon Jennifer Aniston.
The British singer, 32, who has been friends with 54-year-old Aniston’s BFF Courteney Cox, 59, for over a decade, previously revealed how his casual attire sparked a funny moment during the celebration.
Castle On The Hill hitmaker Sheeran – who was pictured with wife Cherry Seaborn for the first time in eight months this week, previously said of the 2013 encounter: ‘I finished in studio and I called up my friend.
‘He was like, “I’m at Jen’s house and we’re just having a chill hang” so I was like, “OK.”
‘Then I turned up… and they’re having a proper Thanksgiving meal and I’m there and I think I was wearing my board shorts or something. It was fun.’

The star posed up with Aniston and her manager Aleen Keshishian during the festivities.
In the snap a smiling Aniston sported a simple black dress and silver necklace as she posed with Sheeran who wore a mint T-shirt.
Ed and Courteney, 59, have been friends for over 10 years and the songwriter even introduced the Friends star to her partner Johnny McDaid, who is in the band Snow Patrol.
The pair first met during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden before a mutual friend invited Sheeran to Cox’s house for a gathering.
In 2014 Sheeran revealed how he had temporarily lived in Cox’s Malibu beach house – without paying rent.
The Suffolk-born star stayed at the brunette’s property for several months while he was writing material for his album.
And, rather than cold, hard cash, he repaid the favour by doing housework.
He told The Sun newspaper: ‘There was no rent but I made the bed and cups of tea and things like that. If you’re staying at your friend’s house, you should treat it like your own.

Ed and Cherry made their first joint public outing in eight months on Monday as they grabbed dinner at The Araki in London’s Mayfair.
The couple – who tied the knot in 2019 – have always kept their relationship low-key but Ed sparked concerns among fans when he hinted at marital issues in his last album.
Autumn Variations, which was released in September, appeared to suggest their relationship was on the rocks at one point, with one song hinting that Cherry, 31, ‘may have called time on their relationship’.
During their date night, Ed and Cherry looked in good spirits but kept their distance, with the Grammy-winning artist reserving his hugs for passersby on the street.
Ed and Cherry have been together since 2015 and are parents to daughters Jupiter, 17 months, and Lyra, two.
