She is currently in Australia to film Leigh Whannell’s The Invisible Man.

And on Monday, Elizabeth Moss took a well-deserved break and was spotted watching a friendly basketball match between Canada and USA at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

The 37-year-old appeared to be in good spirits as she took in the pre-game warm-up alongside a male friend, who shared a few laughs with the American actor.

Elizabeth cut a casual figure in a simple white T-shirt, pair of jeans and a black leather-like jacket, teamed with a pair of white sneakers.

She opted for a fresh-faced, barely-there makeup look and wore her blonde tresses in loose waves on her shoulders.

The actress kept it simple and sporty by wearing a blue baseball cap and finished her look with a small over-the-shoulder brown bag.

Elizabeth appeared enthusiastic throughout the warm-up and during the match, and at various times was seen on the edge of her seat as she closely followed the score.

At one point, the 37-year-old shared a laugh with her male friend, who sported a casual ensemble, consisting of a blue T-shirt and jacket, tracksuit pants and cap.

In her latest role The Invisible Man, Elizabeth’s character Cecilia is seemingly terrorised by her previously abusive and dead ex-boyfriend.

Her courtside appearance came after she recently revealed that she enjoyed being able to throw herself into the dark scenes of The Handmaid’s Tale.

Speaking with Heat Magazine, Elizabeth said the experience of filming the show, which features graphic scenes of rape and violence, was ‘cathartic’ and an outlet.

‘It feels good to do something that I feel is important and I feel connected to personally,’ she said.
