England will wear a unique warm-up shirt ahead of Tuesday’s 150th Anniversary Heritage Match against Scotland at Hampden Park.

Scotland host their rivals in a special friendly to mark the anniversary of the first ever international football match.

Ahead of the occasion, the Three Lions make a nod to their own heritage by wearing a shirt which bears the original crest from the first Scotland v England meeting in 1872.

The limited-edition shirts, designed by Nike, will then be put up for auction with all proceeds going to the FA’s official charity partner, Alzheimer’s Society.

Captain Harry Kane was seen wearing the shirt during a visit to Hamilton Crescent in Glasgow, where the match took place on 30 November 1872.

England were held to a 1-1 draw by Ukraine in Euro 2024 qualifying on Saturday night.

Preparations for Germany continue what will be a first friendly game in 18 months on Tuesday and Kyle Walker is relishing the meeting with England’s old foes.

Asked if there can ever be a friendly against Scotland, Walker told Sky Sports: ‘No, definitely not.

‘I love playing in them games, especially just with everything behind it, with what they bring, their crowd and everything like that.

‘Hopefully we can go there and have a good performance. They’ve had some good recent results so it’s going to be a tough game.

‘The last time we went there we managed to scrape a draw in the last couple of minutes with Harry.

‘So hopefully we can go there, put a good performance on, but it’s never going to be a friendly.’

Kane’s stoppage-time goal secured a 2-2 draw on England’s last trip to Scotland in 2017.
