Several weeks after she horrifically broke her arm Erin Molan has revealed she still struggles to perform basic tasks such as changing a nappy.

The 37-year-old said on Wednesday that she had taken some time off to be at home with her toddler Eliza and was thankful that her parents were around to help out.

Struggle street: After Erin Molan broke her arm last month the sports presenter said she has struggled with parenting tasks such as changing the nappy of her 18-month-old daughter Eliza

Erin captioned the post: ‘Few days at home so mama and papa can help me with Eliza… I still can’t change a nappy,’ she said.

The Channel Nine presenter also poked fun at her own celebrity status and that of her father, former senator Jim Molan.

‘I probably prefer lifts with Dad – we get stared at less at traffic lights than when I’m with mum… even Eliza’s now taking the p*** out of Annie.’

The Channel Nine star fell down the stairs last month while getting up to give her daughter Eliza a bottle at 1am in her Sydney home, leaving her with a broken arm and hand.

At some point in the weekend Erin must have done some reminiscing with her parents and opened up the old year books.
