West Ham are handed a tough tie against Europa League experts Sevilla in the last-16 draw, as Barcelona face Galatasary and Rangers go to Red Star Belgrade… and EasyJet flights for the Hammers’ away leg have ALREADY sold out!

West Ham will face six-time winner Sevilla in the last 16 of the Europa League while Rangers take on Red Star Belgrade and Barcelona face Galatasaray.    

Sevilla are specialists in the competition having won it more than any other side and David Moyes’ high-flying Hammers are in for a stern examination.

The away leg will take place first for the Hammers on March 10 and EasyJet already have full flights out. 

Sevilla won the competition three times in a row between 2014 and 2016 and have advanced past the round of 16 stage in four of their last five appearances. 

West Ham are appearing at this point in the competition for the very first time.  

The draw on Friday morning also pitted Rangers against Red Star Belgrade in a tie they will feel is winnable, particularly after their heroics in the last round.  

Rangers defeated Borussia Dortmund over two thrilling legs to progress 6-4 on aggregate. 

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men will be eyeing a place in the last eight and enter the next round full of confidence. 

Barcelona, who advanced to this stage at the expense of Napoli on Thursday, have been drawn against Turkish giants Galatasaray.  

Xavi has reinvigorated the Catalan club and they now look to be on the up, marrying a number of young talents such as Pedri and Gavi with experienced heads like Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.

They will be the team Galatasaray would have wanted to avoid and anything less than lifting the trophy is likely to be seen as a disappointment for Nou Camp outfit.  

Elsewhere, there is an eye-catching tie between two teams who will see winning the Europa League as a real possibility in Porto and Lyon. 

Braga take on the only other French side left in the competition when they play Monaco, while Atalanta vs Bayer Leverkusen is also one to keep an eye on given the Italian side’s success in Europe over the past few seasons. 

RB Leipzig are favourites to advance past Spartak Moscow and Real Betis face Eintracht Frankfurt.
