The much anticipated 42nd Ryder Cup has seen fans congregate in their masses at the Le Golf National near Paris to see who will pick up the prestigious trophy.

Following Europe’s memorable performance yesterday which saw them extend their lead to 10-6 over the United States, the team now need four and a half points to win the Ryder Cup for the first time since 2014. 

As a sea of spectators watch on from their stands the final showdown draws to its finale on the third day of the competition. 

European fans dressed in flag inspired outfits were seen erupting from their seat as their teams remains on course to beat the USA for the first time since 2014.

However the United States, captained by Jim Furyk, will attempt to mount a similarly comeback with them needing eight points to retain the Ryder Cup.

It is set to be a thrilling Sunday of golf with both sides aiming to take early leads in the individual matches.
