Evelyn Ellis goes through ‘painful’ tattoo removal to get rid of an ex’s initial on her wrist as she and Duncan James go from strength to strength

Married At First Sight’s Evelyn Ellis and Duncan James recently took the next step in their relationship and moved in together.

And on Thursday, Evelyn went through a tattoo removal to get rid of an ex’s initial on her wrist as her romance with Duncan continues to go from strength to strength.

The 27-year-old model shared a video to Instagram while going through the painful process of getting her tattoo removed.

‘The meaning of the “J” was my ex boyfriend’s initials,’ she explained to her fans.

She then revealed tattoo removal is painful the first few times but it just ‘depends on how much you hate your tattoo’.

‘It is painful the first two to three times but you do get used to it. And it depends how much you hate your tattoo,’ she explained.

‘I do recommend using numbing cream. But go and do it if you hate your tattoo.’

Evelyn recently confirmed her relationship with the MAFS groom, who was paired with Alyssa Barmonde on the show this year.

The pair, who were recently pictured kissing and cuddling on a date night in Sydney, revealed in May it was ‘exhilarating’ and ‘freeing’ to finally go public after months of rumours.

‘We are in a relationship. This is [our] hard launch,’ Evelyn told Nine.com.au.

‘It feels good to finally just say it and it feels kind of exhilarating in a weird, freeing way,’ the Maxim cover girl added with a laugh.

Evelyn and Duncan recently took the big step of moving in together after many weeks of bouncing between each other’s apartments.

The lovebirds are renting the three-bedroom, two bathroom property for an eye-watering $10,000-a-month.

Situated just 4.7kms from the CBD in the sought-after waterfront suburb of Balmain, the two-level modern townhouse last sold for $2.9million in 2020, but is now worth an estimated $3.2million.

Located inside a complex of 15 other town houses, the sprawling home was completed in 2016 and features a stylish open-plan design, according to Yahoo.

Highlights include a private courtyard, which serves as an ‘entertainment deck’.
