Lindsay uses just a brown sandwich thin, a can of stewed steak from Sainsbury’s, a kitchen tool called CRIMPiT and her toaster.

She mentioned that she had pre-cooked the stewed steak on the hob first for a few minutes or it could go into the microwave.

In the clip she then placed one side of the thin wholewheat bread onto the CrimpiT device before placing a spoon of stewed steak in the centre of the bread.

Speaking to the Mail Online Lindsay said: ‘I feel like my biggest downfall when it comes to weight loss has always been my cravings for takeaways!

‘And although it’s good to treat yourself once in a while, I thought, why not make a lower calorie version of all my favourite takeaways? That way, I still feel like I’m having a treat whilst sticking to my calorie deficit.’

Next to the viral clip she wrote: ‘Nice little @Greggs fakeaway using @the_crimpit which is my fave kitchen tool atm!’

One person wrote: ‘The filling doesn’t look hot. I appreciate the convenience, but not at the risk of being on the toilet for the evening!’

Lindsey replied: ‘I cooked the filling on the hob before putting it inside so I guarantee it was piping hot after being in the toaster also.’

Another wrote: ‘does it not bubble and come out the sides? I’d be worried about toaster exploding!’

Lindsey replied: ‘As long as you make sure all of the sides have properly met then it doesn’t come out! I was worried about this too but it’s never happened.’

Another wrote; ‘I’ve made these myself, but not like you have. I’ve also made the sausage and bean melts!! But I need to invest in the CRIMPIE.’
