Fans think Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy are over

There have been no shortage of theories swirling around this season of The Bachelorette.

And another has emerged that suggests that Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy are no longer together.

Fans familiar with the TV franchise will have been surprised by the total silence from the last two contestants on Thursday, the day of the show finale.

Is it over already? The MAJOR clues that suggest Bachelorette’s Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy have already called it quits… and it was proven true for Blake Garvey and Sam Frost

Usually the final two give so many media interviews that it’s easy to forget anything other than the show is happening.

Vineyard manager Jarrod Woodgate, 31, was seen arriving from his home state of Victoria into Sydney but was absent from expected media rounds.

Meanwhile, millionaire Stu gave some interviews but they were mainly concerned with dismissing claims he is romantically involved with Sydney socialite Tiffany Tilley.

Despite the rumours, Stu has been adamant that he isn’t dating Tiffany – telling Daily Mail Australia: ‘I have never met the woman. The claims are outrageous.’

The last time Channel Ten kept a reality dating show top two quiet was for Bachelor in 2014, when Sam Frost and Lisa Hyde were competing for Blake Garvey’s heart.

As it turned out, he didn’t really choose either of them and wanted third-runner up Louise Pillidge instead.

There has also been a distinct lack of winner’s photos and loved-up Instagram posts from Sophie or Stu.

After the show finale both posted an official snap of them together from the episode.

Sophie captioned hers: ‘Finally WE can walk down the street and go to the supermarket’ while Stu kept it simple by using seven heart emojis for the caption.

After much hesitation, show winner Stu Laundy told Sophie he loved her during the show finale on Thursday night.

Breaking down in tears, the divorcee told the 37-year-old that she has ‘put him back together.’

‘I’m in love with you… It’s not like puppy love. I just needed to talk to you,’ he said.

‘I’m so frickin’ emotional. It’s a nightmare. You’ve been so good to me. And you put me back together somehow. I’m in love with you.’

Stu’s declaration had a definite effect on Sophie who also broke down as the pair shared the intimate interlude.

‘I’m getting upset because I know how vulnerable Stu was saying that, when he’s got a family,’ Sophie said. ‘And to do it in this position is a lot.’

A transparent Stu laid it all on the line with the blonde beauty as they reclined on the beach, with the pub baron explaining why it had taken so long to express his true feelings.

‘I’m feeling really scared,’ Stu declared. ‘I’m scared of embarrassing my kids, I’m scared of the feelings not being reciprocated. But you just can’t help how you feel.’

Continuing, Stu said: ‘I’ve been really unhappy and I’m not anymore. It’s just very, very hard for me but I’ve just gotta do this.’

In a piece to camera before the date, Stu made his intentions felt, saying he needed to be honest about his feelings.

‘This is my last chance. I know I need to let Soph in on how I feel. I need to just pour my heart out ’cause it’s hers if she wants it.’
