This is the horrific moment a father slammed his young daughter into a security pole.

CCTV captured of the shocking  incident shows the father hurling his daughter into the security pole at a Big W in Nambour Plaza in Queensland.  

The man, who cannot be named, appeared at the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Thursday and pleaded guilty to the aggravated breach of a domestic violence order and the breach of probation, Sunshine Coast Daily reported.

Numerous witnesses and the police prosecutor told the court that the man abused the girl which resulted in her crying and screaming before her picked her up by the hood of her jumper.

The incident which occurred on June 27 saw the man arrested four hours after the attack which saw the man spend 22 days behind bars.

His lawyer told the court that the man was suffering from high levels of exhaustion and stress because he was living with four children under the age of five, the publication reported.

An affidavit from the man’s father revealed that he never got over his brother’s death which occured in 1997 and that he was never aggressive towards his children.

Magistrate Maxine Baldwin described the man’s behaviour as ‘abhorrent’ and ‘disgusting’, telling to ‘grow up’. 

‘What you have done is unforgivable,’ Ms Baldwin said.

The court also heard that the man was already on a suspended sentence for a common assault charge. 

Ms Baldwin sentenced the man to a six month associated jail term and a further 15 months’ jail. He is due to be released on parole on January 26, 2019.     

Child Protection Services are involved in the matters.
