Ferne McCann likes post calling for Arthur Collins release

  • McCann liked an Instagram post by a relative of Collins, calling for his release
  • She has previously vowed to never speak to Collins again after his attack
  • He was sentenced to 20 years behind bars for attack at London nightclub

Ferne McCann liked an Instagram post calling for the release of acid attacker and the father of her baby, Arthur Collins.

Collins, who fathered a baby girl with McCann, was sentenced to 20 years and five on licence last month after he was found guilty of five counts of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and nine counts of actual bodily harm (ABH) at Mangle nightclub in East London.

Yet her Instagram like seemingly contradicts what she told Collins when she visited him at HMP Belmarsh with their young daughter, vowing never to see him again.

‘You have ruined our lives. This is what you have done,’ she told him. ‘And this is what you are missing out on. You will never see us again.’

But on Christmas Day, she liked a post uploaded onto the social media platform posted by Tommy Collins, a relative of Arthur.

McCann removed her like but not before it was seen by eager-eyed fans.

The picture caption reads: ‘Free up my brother. I miss him the most’, followed by a number of emojis.

She also appeared to show her support for Collins by liking another post uploaded by Tommy on December 21.

A friend of McCann told The Sun that the like was a mistake.

They said: ‘This is nonsense it was clearly was an accident. She was scrolling down her feed and pressed a button by mistake. She was mortified and removed this immediately.

‘There was no reason for her to like this post.’
