Fitness queen Kayla Itsines reveals she’s tested positive for Covid but has no symptoms: ‘Regardless of how I’m feeling, I’ll be doing the right thing by staying home’
Fitness queen Kayla Itsines has tested positive to Covid-19.
The fitness guru, 30, revealed on Instagram on Tuesday she had returned a positive test after being a close contact.
‘Hey guys, I wanted to share this with you first. I found out I had been in contact with someone that had tested positive for Covid… so I went to get tested immediately and my result was positive,’ Kayla revealed.

‘I am vaccinated and I have no symptoms at this stage and feel fine… (of course, you can be asymptomatic when Covid positive).’
‘Regardless of how I’m feeling, I’ll be doing the right thing by staying home, following health authority guidelines and isolating for the required time, and will be making sure I return a negative test result before I go back into the community.’
Kayla went on to say she is ‘grateful to not be experiencing any symptoms’.

She also said her daughter Arna was with her father and former fiancé Tobi Pearce and family until she’s completed her isolation.
‘I’ll keep you updated with how I’m feeling on my Instagram stories but today, I’m doing fine,’ she continued.
‘I know this is a tough time for many and my heart goes out to anyone that needs it right now.’

Kayla and Tobi launched Sweat – formerly known as Bikini Body Guide – in 2015 as an ebook, before the company grew into an app-based online community with more than 50 million users worldwide.
The couple ended their engagement in 2020, but continue to work together.
Kayla went on to briefly date a man named Mitch before starting a relationship with Jae Woodroffe – who is the ex-boyfriend of one of her friends – earlier this year.
