  • Nova host Fitzy accidentally tweeted at a porn star instead of the AFLW player
  • Fitzy intended on congratulating AFLW star Erin Phillips after Sunday’s GF win
  • Instead, he tagged a girl with the same name but one less 1 in her username
  • The Crows star was named best on ground in 63 to 18 victory over the Blues
  • Fitzy addressed the awkward blunder on air on Monday, laughing it off

Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald has been ridiculed after accidentally congratulating an amateur porn star instead of a female AFL star on her grand final win.

Fitzy intended on tweeting AFLW star Erin Phillips on Adelaide’s incredible win over Carlton at the women’s AFL grand final on Sunday.

The Crows superstar was named best on ground in Sunday’s 63 to 18 victory as her side achieved their second premiership in three years.

‘Final crowd numbers, 53,000 people crammed into Adelaide Oval. Astounding. Chin up @erinphillips13 you should be very proud. #AFLWGF #weflyasone,’ Fitzy’s seemingly innocent tweet read.

The Twitter page of a mysterious amateur porn star who goes by the same name as the Adelaide Crows player has just one Tweet

Fitzy, a former AFL player turned Nova radio host, wanted to pay tribute to Phillips so he took to Twitter to send his well-wishes, but accidentally tagged the wrong girl

The Nova announcer had no idea he’d actually tagged an amateur porn star with the same name.

Instead of tagging the footy young gun — whose username is @erinphillips131 — he mistakenly tagged @erinphillips13.

One click on the incorrect username takes users to the Twitter page of a woman who refers to herself as ‘Pretty Fetish’ with two sexually suggestive photos.

Although a few  Twitter users pointed our his blunder in the comments section, he said he didn’t figure it out until Aussie hip-hop group Hilltop Hoods let him know.

‘I went to Twitter and just said, ‘Chin up Erin Phillips, you’re a legend, you’re a champion and you’ll come back bigger and better than this’.’

‘Unfortunately, I put up the wrong Erin Phillips. She’s @erinphillips131, I put up @erinphillips13 and that takes you to ‘Pretty Fetish’, he told Nova listeners.

The mystery porn star’s one and only tweet reads ‘Trying to get unclothed by the second, come watch me.’

The tweeting mishap comes after Sunday’s AFLW grand final, which attracted more than 53,000 spectators – setting a new attendance record for a domestic women’s sport game in Australia.

But Adelaide’s win was outshone after Phillips suffered a suspected ACL injury that could need up to a year in rehab.

As the distraught 33-year-old left the field in tears, a crowd of more than 50,000 were brought to their feet, while even Blues rivals showed their support.

The previous record was also held by ALFW, when nearly 42,000 people packed Perth’s Optus Stadium last year to watch Fremantle beat Collingwood.
