Last month, Floyd danced and laughed his way through the majority of his clash with Deji before claiming a stoppage victory in the sixth round.

The 50-0 all-time great shared the ring with 1-3 YouTuber Deji – real name Oladeji Olatunji – with the contest waved off at the first sign of his opponent’s distress at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

In September, Floyd confirmed he would make $15-20million (£13-18m) from his exhibition bout with Mikuru Asakura.

Mayweather went head-to-head with the MMA fighter at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on September 25.

He said at the time that the nine minute fight will earn him ‘millions’ of dollars per 60 seconds and that he has learnt to ‘work smarter, not harder’.

When asked how much money he would make prior to the game, Mayweather said: ‘It’s always a few million a minute.

‘From this exhibition alone I will making somewhere upwards of $15-20million. That’s just from this exhibition. So, it’s cool. Nine minutes, 20 million, not bad.

He went on to say: ‘Exhibitions are also giving me a chance to travel more. I have always travelled a lot but I am able to entertain people all over the world.

‘I wasn’t able to do a real fight in Japan but they love when I do exhibitions. They love for me to come over and perform. It gives them a little bit of a chance to see the old Mayweather. It’s a great feeling.

‘I make great money from these exhibitions. But like I told you, I am not taking any abuse.

‘If they were doing some bodily harm I would have to walk away completely. I am not going to put myself in a position where I am getting brutally beaten or I am taking punishment.’

It was also revealed by Will Smith in October that Floyd, who mixes in celebrity circles, called him up every day for 10 days straight to check in after actor slapped Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.

Men In Black actor Will, 54 – who faced career downfall when he hit Chris, 57, in March after the star made an ill-advised joke about his wife Jada – praised ‘forever dude’ Floyd, 45, for his kindness.

In video obtained by TMZ, the star, speaking at a recent event in London to promote new film Emancipation, said: ‘I want to say something also about Floyd. So, we’ve met each other, we’ve seen each other around, but we weren’t like, friends.

‘And, the day after the Oscars, for 10 days he called me every day. ‘And, he was like, “ay, you know you the champ, right? You good? You know you the champ, right? I want you to hear my voice say it.”‘

‘That was every day he called me… and it’s like, that’s my dude forever right there.’
