Ex Bandidos bikie president Brett ‘Kaos’ Pechey allegedly threatened to stab police with a sword if they didn’t shoot him during a recent stand off.
Pechey, a former president of the West End chapter of the Bandidos and once Queensland’s most wanted bikie, barricaded himself in a Gold Coast home armed with multiple blades, police will allege.
His defence lawayer Campbell MacCallum claims the dramatic confrontation was the result of extreme psychological stress in Pechey’s life, The Courier Mail reports.

Police will allege that Pechey (pictured with girlfriend Rikki-Louise Jones) barricaded himself in a Gold Coast home and told the 26 officers on site to ‘come up, have a go and shoot him
‘My client is quite distressed after a number of factors arising in his personal life which forms some of the basis as to how events unfolded,’ Mr MacCallum said.
These potentially include a recent social media stoush with ex-Hells Angels enforcer Benjamin ‘Notorious’ Geppert, which saw Pechey being publicly labelled a ‘boneyard dog’ for allegedly talking to police.
This dispute eventually came to involve Pechey’s and Geppert’s respective girlfriends, cousins Rikki-Louise Jones and Allaina Jones, causing them to turn against one another.
Further to that was the police shooting death of former Comanchero bikie associate Liam Scorsese in February, and a falling out between Pechey and his ex girlfriend that resulted in an Apprehended Violence Order against him in March.
About 26 police officers were at the scene on the Gold Coast trying to negotiate with Pechey, whom allegedly stabbed a number of walls and kicked out windows in the home.
He then allegedly told officers to ‘come up, have a go and shoot him’, and ‘that he would stab them if they didn’t shoot him’.

Police were only able to detain Pechey after he took prescription drugs that left him semiconscious, they claim.
He has been charged with a number of offences, including assaulting police.
Mr MacCallum claims that ‘He is currently under the care of doctors who are catering for his health and welfare.’
Pechey will reportedly contend the allegations.
