A 62-year-old former Tory mayor has left his partner of 20 years for a teenage farm girl he met as a councillor.
John Copsey from Bridlington, East Yorkshire, has even said he is going to marry 19-year-old Daisy Tomlinson having first bumped into each other at a charity concert.
The drastic change led the ex-mayoress Jacqui to claim her former partner – who she described as a ‘bit of a player’ – has ‘gone nuts’.

She told The Sun: ‘He has gone nuts and she obviously likes older men.’
Her former husband and the teenager got to know each other during his term as mayor last from June 2015 and summer last year.
They are now living together in a flat, and he said the council was aware of the relationship he and Tomlinson had.
In spite of the 43-year age difference, the new couple claim to be ‘very much in love’ and the teenager batted away criticism.
She said: ‘We are very happy. We are at a loss why anyone is interested. It’s quite boring. My parents are happy. They say they are happy as long as I am happy.’

‘You can put that down as our official engagement. There is nothing more to it.’
Copsey and Jacqui were married for 12 years before divorcing and spending five years apart.
They then got back together before the ex-mayor left her for the younger woman.
