Four men are charged after police raid ‘drug syndicate’ accused of delivering $10,000 worth of cocaine to customers seven days a week for months

  • They were all denied bail and will face court again on Friday  

Four men have been charged after police raided an alleged drug syndicate accused of delivering $10,000 worth of cocaine to customers every day for six months. 

The men, aged 29, 35, 37 and 38 were arrested on Thursday after Strike Force Bayou detectives executed warrants at homes at Auburn, Merrylands, and Rhodes. 

Officers allege they seized more than 0.5kg of a white powder, believed to be cocaine, $5,000 cash, mobile phones, electronic devices, a Toyota Landcruiser, and drug paraphernalia during the raids.

The 37-year-old man was charged with supply prohibited drug (large commercial quantity), supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, and knowingly participate in criminal group assist crime. 

The 29-year-old Rhodes man was charged with supply prohibited drug (large commercial quantity), supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, and knowingly participate in criminal group assist crime.

Both men were refused bail and are set to appear at Burwood Local Court on Friday.

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old Merrylands man was charged with supply prohibited drug (large commercial quantity), and knowingly participate in criminal group assist crime. 

The 38-year-old Merrylands man was charged with supply prohibited drug (large commercial quantity), supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, and knowingly participate in criminal group assist crime.

Both men were refused bail and will appear at Parramatta Local Court on Friday.
