Girl ‘duped into sex by woman posing as boy called George’ thought she felt a penis, court hears

A teenage girl who claims she was duped into sex by a woman posing as a boy called ‘George’ felt what she thought was his penis while they were in bed together, a court heard today.

Georgia Bilham, 21, is accused of tricking the short-sighted girl by taking away her glasses and keeping her clothes on and her hood up during all their sexual encounters.

Today the alleged victim, who at the time was in her late teens, told the jury that while she never seen ‘George’s’ penis, she felt what she described as ‘a willy-like figure’ against her leg on two occasions.

One was when they were lying in bed next to each other at her house ‘spooning’.

The other was when ‘George’ arrived to collect her in ‘his’ car and ‘he’ had brushed past her leg, she said.

Describing the second time it allegedly happened, she said: ‘I thought we were about to have sex – this was the night.’

The jury also heard about messages the girl exchanged with her mother, who became suspicious after meeting ‘George’ and told her daughter that she didn’t believe her boyfriend was a man.

‘Did you defo feel a willy?’ her mother asked.

‘Yes defo. Why did you think he’s a girl?’ she replied.

But Bilham’s barrister told the court her client denies ever having done anything aimed at ‘mimicking a penis’.

The alleged victim also admitted to police there had once been part of her which wanted to ‘experiment with girls’ – but insisted the thought now made her feel ‘sick’.

Bilham allegedly set up a fake Snapchat profile under the name ‘George Parry’ using a cartoon image of a blond-haired man as her profile picture and began messaging the alleged victim online.

They progressed to meeting up for sexual activity in ‘George’s’ car, with Bilham taking away the extremely short-sighted girl’s glasses, leaving her ‘essentially blind’, Chester Crown Court has heard.

After ‘he’ dismissed her suspicions that he was really female, the pair began sleeping together at her home, with ‘George’ insisting on keeping his hood up at all times.

But while ‘George’ regularly performed sex acts on her, when she tried to lower ‘his’ Calvin Klein boxer shorts ‘he’ began shaking until she stopped, it was alleged.

‘George’ told her he was too afraid to take off his top or even lower the hood because he was working for an Albanian criminal gang.

He also said he was self-conscious due to a scar from being stabbed, according to the prosecution.

However the accuser finally learnt the truth after introducing ‘George’ to her mother, who the prosecution say was not taken in.

Bilham, from Alpraham, Cheshire, is charged with nine counts of sexual assault and eight counts of assault by penetration, all of which she denies.

Under cross-examination from Martine Snowdon, Bilham’s barrister, the alleged victim admitted today that the relationship was like an ‘addiction’ and ‘not healthy’.

Ms Snowdon pointed to messages between the pair which she claimed showed the teenager was aware that ‘George’ was being ‘dishonest’ and ‘pretending to be someone else’.

The alleged victim acknowledged that she knew ‘George’ wasn’t always ‘truthful’ with her.

But she insisted she always believed he was a boy, even following a car crash in May 2021 when police had referred to him as ‘Georgia’.

Ms Snowdon referred to messages the teenager sent ‘George’ saying ‘OK little boy/girl?’ and ‘How are you girl?’

In another, she wrote: ‘I hate being a girl but you know what that feels like.’

The alleged victim responded that the messages were ‘banter’ and a ‘joke’ between her and ‘George’ and denied sending them because she knew ‘he’ was a girl.

In another message, she told ‘George’ that: ‘I just don’t believe anything you say.’

Ms Snowdon suggested it showed the teenager was aware George was a girl and not a boy.

‘No, it was about his stories, the Albanians,’ she replied.

‘I couldn’t have a relationship with somebody who wasn’t honest with me.’

Ms Snowdon said the teenager ‘sort of knew stuff’ about ‘George’ but chose to ‘accept it ‘because she couldn’t walk away’ from the relationship and ‘fell in love with the person and not who they said they were’.

She also dismissed claims by the alleged victim that Bilham had used anything ‘mimicking a penis’ in her clothes – something the defendant denies.

Ms Snowdon suggested: ‘You chose to go on with the relationship because you were in love with the person not who they were identifying as.’

The trial continues.
