Among the more bizarre offerings is a white billy goat, with bids on the animal starting from $250.

Describing themselves in the profile section, the group state they are ‘a bible believing Christian Community of more than 500 people’.

‘Our faith in God is the centre of our life, and we follow the scriptures literally.’

A documentary about the Christian community that aired in July 2016, discussed how members were completely segregated from the outside world.

Gloriavale: A Woman’s Place showcased the women’s role in the male-dominated society.

Women are supposedly given kitchen and laundry duties while men do more physical work like building or working in factories, and it seems – running their trade site.
