Grant Crapp has revealed what really went down in the hours before he was brutally dumped by his Love Island Australia girlfriend Tayla Damir last Thursday.
The beauty queen, 21, broke up with the 22-year-old electrician after finding out he had a ‘secret girlfriend’ prior to his appearance on the raunchy reality show.
Speaking exclusively with Daily Mail Australia on Sunday, Grant claimed he and Tayla had a blazing row about his ex-flame in the hours before their split.

‘Me and Tayla spoke the night before (her break-up post) and I honestly thought it was more of a lover’s tiff or an argument, as most couples have’, he told Daily Mail Australia after joining an ABBA tribute band on Sydney Harbour’s new Rhythm Boat.
Grant believed their relationship could still be salvaged, until he saw Tayla share an Instagram post announcing that their relationship was over.
Sounding heartbroken, he revealed: ‘I didn’t expect it to go up on Instagram… I didn’t know she (Tayla) was going to do it all. Firstly, I didn’t think it was over and when I saw that… what are you going to do?’

Whilst Tayla and Grant haven’t seen each other face-to-face since the split, the star did reveal that they have spoken on the phone and have sent messages back and forth.
‘I have spoken to her on the phone yesterday (Saturday), sent a few messages here and there… Very, very briefly, spoke to her on the phone. I understand why she’s upset,’ he stated.
Grant steadfastly claims that he and his ex-girlfriend Lucy Cartwright had split before he entered Love Island Australia and met Tayla.

And the tattooed tradie is hopeful that the pair can reconcile.
‘I’m still in love with Tayla. I’ve said to her the ball’s in her court,’ he told Daily Mail Australia.
On Friday, Grant shared a video to Instagram telling his side of the story,
‘Going into Love Island that girl (his ex) totally knew I was going in there so I did break up with her before Love Island, so it was finished. I lied about that to Tayla and I totally regret that, it’s something I’m not proud of. Tayla doesn’t deserve that at all and I 100 per cent regret it,’ he explained.
