Guess who? Iconic Aussie singer looks unrecognisable in adorable childhood picture

She is one of Australia’s most recognisable performers, with a two-decade strong career in acting, singing and presenting.

The Wollongong-born star began her performing career in the late 90s as an actress, and appeared in several popular TV shows including All Saints and The Lost World.

She later branched out into singing and became the face of a popular rock band who had huge hits across the country.

On Tuesday, the energetic entertainer shared an unrecognisable throwback photo to Instagram which captured her as a preteen, posing up a storm in a pink dress.

She looked like a completely different person in the adorable snap, with her natural hair, fresh face and wide-eyed appearance.

However, she still had her trademark cheeky grin known to her many fans.

Of course, it is Natalie Bassingthwaighte, the legendary Rogue Traders singer and Neighbours star.

Natalie is all smiles in the photo alongside her sister Melinda Sheldrick, as they attended a formal event with two young boys.

She captioned the photo with some hilarious words. 

‘We look a little more professional back in the day lol,’ she wrote.

Shortly after their eviction Natalie paid tribute to her sister.

‘I am so overwhelmed with gratitude and pride towards my extraordinary sister Melinda carrying herself with such grace, dignity and pure light!’ she began. 

‘You are my Hero! No one would have known you did all this with a broken foot. You never complained . You just pushed through. You taught me so much about living in the moment and being grateful for it all! 

‘Together we can conquer anything. And together we did! I ❤️ you!’
