Hailey Baldwin hugs new beau Shawn Mendes in Canada

Things are getting very serious between Hailey Baldwin and Shawn Mendes.

The 21-year-old supermodel was spotted hugging the 19-year-old Treat You Better singer as she visited him in his hometown of Toronto, Canada on Thursday.

This comes after the daughter of Stephen Baldwin was unwittingly the subject of a ‘fight’ between her ex Justin Bieber and his on-again love Selena Gomez when he reached out to the blonde to apologize for his past behavior.

Hailey certainly seems to have completely moved on from Justin after the romanced ended in 2016.

And it seems as if she is very into her new beau.

They two have been linked for months as they have been seen at concerts and parties, but now she has flown to Canada to meet his family signaling that this is more than a new fling.

And the couple seemed very caught up in each other. At one point they stopped walking so they could hug on the street. Hailey closed her eyes to enjoy the sweet embrace.

Hailey made an undeniably sexy statement at the awards ceremony in a mini dress,  which no doubt seemed to catch the attention of Shawn.

A source told The Sun: ‘The place was packed with stars but Shawn only had eyes for Hailey. It clearly wasn’t a one-time thing.

His first album Handwritten debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in April 2015 and went platinum. His follow-up album Illuminate also topped the charts in June 2016.

In May this year, she topped the Maxim magazine list of the most beautiful women in the world.

Meanwhile, Bieber and Gomez are reportedly having Christian’s couples therapy after fighting about Baldwin.

Sources close to Hillsong Church told TMZ that Justin, 23, was trying to clear the air with his ex Hailey and following his new ‘open and honest’ approach to life.

As members of the same church, Justin and Hailey are often seen together at the service.

He told current girlfriend Selena, 25, that he had been in touch with the model. 

However, the Wolves singer is said to have not been happy that her boyfriend was in contact with his ex, resulting in the pair attending couples therapy.  

TMZ claimed the pair have been in therapy for a week – which allegedly led to Selena’s mother checking herself into hospital.

Selena and Justin’s on-and-off romance last ended in 2015, having begun in 2010 – the year Selena turned 18 and Justin turned 16.

It was recently revealed that Selena and her mother, Mandy Teefey, no longer follow each other on Instagram.

This development comes after it was reported that Mandy was taken to a hospital last week after getting in a ‘heated’ conversation with Selena about her reuniting with Bieber.

TMZ claimed Mandy had a ‘heated conversation’ with Selena over Justin, which led to a voluntary ‘welfare’ check-up.

It was reported Selena’s family will ‘never forgive him or accept [Justin]’ for their complicated split in 2014.

A source told the website that Mandy was taken to a welfare centre in Los Angeles for a health check ‘at a family member’s request’. 

Gotta have faith: Justin has been dedicating himself to turning his life around with the help of the church and is often seen at the Hillsong services which Hailey and Selena also attend 

A source told People the reason Mandy voluntarily checked into the hospital was not just because of Justin.  

‘It’s been a stressful time for Mandy and she made the decision herself to go to the hospital and make sure everything was okay…This wasn’t just about Justin,’ the source said.

A source for Justin told the website he’s aware Selena’s family isn’t happy with him, but he’s determined to prove himself to them.

‘He is sad that her mom is not doing well,’ the source added.
