And now reality star and real estate agent Nikki Gogan has revealed how hurt she is, after being ‘catfished’ for eight months.
The 30-year-old blonde beauty revealed she met a man through her work – only for him to lie about being a rich ‘property developer,’ who drove pricey sports cars.

‘I had no reason not to believe what I was seeing and being told,’ Nikki told New Idea.
‘It makes you really wonder how trusting you are when you realise how you accepted this big, elaborate story that ended up having so many holes,’ she added.
The term ‘catfishing’ refers to a person who someone typically meets online, who deceives the other and often creates a fake relationship.

A man called Matthew first met Nikki when he inspected one of her properties in Perth, pulling up in a luxury sports car.
He then attended more inspections, driving a different car each time – which a friend of Nikki said were borrowed or rented.
The publication reports Matthew also pretended to own a number of expensive properties in Perth and showered Nikki in ‘designer’ gifts.
After Matthew spent Christmas Day with Nikki and her family, she soon found out he was a liar when she met another woman in Perth who had the same story.

The publication adds that Matthew is believed to be a ‘serial catfish conman’ in Perth.
A friend of Nikki told New Idea that she’s ’embarrassed.’
‘She felt foolish after being lead along by Richie on The Bachelor and now this,’ they said.
However the publication reports that Nikki has a rumoured crush on AFL star Connor Blakely, 21, who bought a home from her.

Nikki won the hearts of the nation when she was left devastated, after Richie Strahan booted her off The Bachelor in the finale, before choosing Alex Nation as his winner.
However Richie and Alex’s union was short-lived, with the single mother announcing she was in a same-sex relationship with Maegan Luxa last August.
In September, Nikki said she ‘definitely wouldn’t’ date Richie, now he’s single.
More recently, fans have been urging Nikki to date former Bachelorette star, Sasha Mielczarek, who was previously in a relationship with Sam Frost.
