In the latest instalment of Celebs Go Dating, Helen sent fans into frenzy making a shock confession to her new boyfriend Robbie Talbot.

The former Coronation Street star wore a black corset as she held a drink in her hand and started: ‘So I basically came clean at the agency about me and you,’ as Robbie replied: ‘Oh yeah?’

‘So they want to know if you would come to the agency with me, as my boyfriend,’ the ex soap star went on.

‘What do you mean?,’ asked Robbie perplexed to which Helen responded more remarking: ‘Like come to see the agents with me as my boyfriend.’

Robbie asked: ‘And what?’ as Helen replied: ‘I don’t know, I think they just want to kind of meet you.’

Last week she broke down in tears after she faced being axed from Celebs Go Dating for lying about her secret relationship with Robbie, 44, and ‘wasting everyone’s time’.

In the previous episode of the Channel 4 reality show, Helen confessed to having a boyfriend ‘back at home’.

Robbie, who also has children, and told her shocked celebrity castmates and the show’s experts: ‘I think I am in love with him.’

After her confession, love guru Paul Brunson says in a confessional: ‘Helen has not only wasted our time, but all of the dates’ time.

‘We need to hear the full truth of why she has kept this from us. And if we are not happy with her response, it is time for her to leave the agency.’

Back at the office, Helen says: ‘I know I can’t date but I would like to maybe stay in the agency and still have a bit of maybe therapy. For myself.’

After this, she begins to tear up as she waits for the experts’ decision.

They thank her for being honest and tell her that they can work with anything, before Paul, who came down the strongest after the reveal, gives her a hug.

He tells Helen: ‘I applaud this. I rate this. This is all I wanted.’

A source told The Sun: ‘Helen tried to keep the relationship under wraps because of Celebs Go Dating.

But that’s become difficult as their feelings have grown for each other. It came to a head when she was quizzed by the dating agents about why she was failing to pursue connections on the show.

‘The one rule of CGD is stars must be single. But E4 bosses were desperate to keep her, so found a way to write Robbie into the show. Sources on set have seen him filming alongside Helen. While it’s not known how E4 will justify the fakery, viewers will feel they’re trying to pull the wool over their eyes.’
