  • Coronavirus symptoms: what are they and should you see a doctor?

This is the moment a streaker interrupted a journalist’s live cross when he was reporting on the coronavirus.

The man was completely naked as he ran behind Mark Stevens with just a black T-shirt wrapped around his head.

As the Seven News reporter starts to give his rundown the streaker suddenly appears in the background.

Mr Stevens was giving viewers an update on the impact the coronavirus was having on St Kilda Football Club on Tuesday.

Just as the streaker runs into a view a quick-thinking producer cuts to different footage.

Mr Stevens took to Twitter after the incident to say the man had also ‘tapped me on the backside’.

A Reddit user filmed the segment on their mobile phone before posting it with the caption ‘Harrowing times at Moorabbin…virtually a ghost town’.

The video attracted the attention of other Reddit users with one praising the streaker for being health conscious.

‘Good to see streaker was observing social distancing requirements,’ the user wrote.

Another user invoked a term from popular action film Mad Max: Fury Road for their comment.

‘Witness Me, Brothers,’ the user joked.
